Fic: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (A Visit from St. Mofftiss) (Mycroft/Sherlock/John, R, poetry)

Title: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (A Visit from St. Mofftiss)
Also at: AO3
Status: Complete
By: daasgrrl
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Characters/Pairings: Mycroft Holmes/Sherlock Holmes/John Watson, St. Mofftiss
Rating: R
Word count: 520
Warnings/contents: consensual sibling incest, threesomes, meta, desecration of poetry, possible childhood ruining
Beta: Thanks to evila_elf for beta
Notes: Seasonal porny threesome meta. In verse. I'd pretend to be sorry, but we'd both know I was lying.

Summary: In which various Christmas wishes are granted.

‘Twas the night before Christmas at 221B,
Celebrations were done, all departed save three.
The silence grew awkward in front of the fire,
As each secretly hoped it was time to retire.

“I’m off.” Sherlock rose, with a sniff and a sneer,
“Can’t see any further point sitting ‘round here.”
To which Mycroft nodded as John drained his glass,
Both unduly distracted by Sherlock’s fine arse.

Fic: Restitution (BBC Sherlock, Sherlock/John, R)

Title: Restitution
Also at: AO3
Status: Complete
By: daasgrrl
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Characters/Pairings: Sherlock/John
Rating: R
Word count: 6,900
Warnings/contents: post-Reichenbach reunionfic; revelations, angst, smut, excessive sentiment, the usual.
Beta: evila_elf
Notes: This fic is an offshoot from the unintentional Kindred Spirits series (Mycroft/Sherlock), in which the post-Reichenbach events between Sherlock and John are only summarised briefly in conversation, but then demanded a fic of their own. This is essentially stand-alone Sherlock/John, with no direct referencing of previous fics, although if you've read them you might understand Sherlock's behaviour a little better than John does.

Summary: Two years after the Fall, Sherlock pays John a "brief but eventful visit", and what follows thereafter. A companion piece of sorts to Eventide.

Fic(s): Drabble/221B collection (Sherlock/John, Sherlock/Lestrade, G to R)

These were already linked from the 2012 round-up post, but I'm also posting them here for completeness.

Title: Drabble/221B collection (8)
Also at: AO3 (link to complete work)
Status: Complete
By: daasgrrl
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Characters/Pairings: Sherlock/John (7), Sherlock/Lestrade (1 - Bribery)
Rating: G to R
Word count: 1,321
Warnings/contents: I tend to rate kissing as a G and go up from there, but ymmv.
Notes: I read and voted in the lovely BBC Sherlock Last Drabble Writer Standing challenge, but couldn't bring myself to enter, because I've never been able to write to prompts very reliably. However, I decided to attempt them as a private challenge, and managed to keep up... for an entire three weeks. However, I kept plodding on, and finally finished the last of them on New Year's Eve, a mere five months after the challenge wrapped up *g*. So, the brilliant single-word prompts are from the Last Drabble Writer Standing mod, who originally posted them under sherlock_mod (I did attempt to contact them before posting; happy to change the credit), and I've used them as titles, but the interpretations are mine.

VID: Caveat Lecter (BBC Sherlock, SerialKiller!Sherlock AU, Sherlock/John)

When previewing this vid on Christmas Eve, evila_elf asked if the title credits were intended to be Christmassy, what with the stocking and red writing and all. Um, no, just wildly inappropriate timing...

Title: Caveat Lecter (SerialKiller!Sherlock AU)
By: daasgrrl
Song/Artist: 3 a.m. (Eminem)
Length: 2.22
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Characters and/or pairings: Sherlock/John friendship
Warnings/kinks/contents: violence (canon), dead bodies (canon), minor character death (implied)
Thanks: to evila_elf for previewing.
Notes: After a week of struggling to write some nice, fluffy Johnlock, this just... happened. I think it was my brain rebelling, although if it's any consolation it's still vaguely shippy. The song has been heavily butchered edited/rearranged, so don't expect the radio version.

Summary: Sherlock is a serial killer; John learns to cope.

It's 3 a.m. in the morning/put my key in the door and/ bodies laying all over the floor and/ I don't remember how they got there/ but I guess I must have killed them - killed them.

Indulgences (BBC Sherlock, R)

Title: Indulgences
By: daasgrrl
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Alternate links: AO3
Length: 600
Rating: R
Beta: evila_elf
Warnings, kinks & contents: Silliness, smut, abuse of language.
Author's note: Written in a fit of exasperation over teflon_woman's fixation on John's relationships and spectacular inability to appreciate Mycroft. Obviously, I mean that in the nice way. Also a blatant excuse for my personal kink. There, can we all be happy now? ;P
Summary: John and Mycroft finally give in.

Holding Patterns (Cabin Pressure/Sherlock, Mycroft/Martin, R, 1/2)

Haven't written much fic lately and am a bit nervous about the larger fandoms, particularly Sherlock, so I'm just going to leave this here for a day or two while I contemplate them. If you should happen to notice I've really screwed something up, please do let me know *g*

Title: Holding Patterns (1/2)
By: daasgrrl
Pairing: Mycroft/Martin (implied Mycroft/Sherlock, Martin/Douglas)
Rating: R
Word count: 9,800
Summary: Martin receives an unusual request from an MJN client, which he handles with his usual... dignity and aplomb. Notionally takes place after The Reichenbach Fall, although the references are minimal.
Beta: Thanks as always to the steadfast evila_elf for beta and a special thank you to xanthe for coming to the rescue with britpick and general encouragement. Anything you continue to disapprove of is mine.
Notes: I have no idea where this fic came from. One day it just walked in, loudly announced itself, put its feet up on the coffee table and demanded I write it. So I did.

Playing the Game (Wilson/Taub, R)

Title: Playing the Game
By: [info]daasgrrl
Pairing: Wilson/Taub
Rating: R
Word count: 1,900
Beta: Huge thanks to topaz_eyes, who said many wise and wonderful things, including "fix the ending". The rough edges are mine.
Summary: Taub knows it isn’t about friendship.
Notes: Remember that the wonder of the dancing bear is not how well it dances, but that it dances at all (it's also probably kind of cruel, but let's not go there). Written for and inspired by the lovely topaz_eyes, who wanted to see this particular bear dance. Of course, this would be a far more uplifting dedication if I hadn't forced her to beta as well, but that's what you get for throwing out pairings like that. Sorry about that, Chief. Also contains without question the most bizarre excuse for smut ever. Hey, it's Taub. What was I supposed to do? *g*

Halfwits (House/Wilson, R)

Title: Halfwits
By: daasgrrl
Pairing: House/Wilson
Rating: R
Word count: 3,500
Summary: Standard Half-Wit post-ep. So where the hell was Wilson, anyway? House needs to know.
Beta: Thanks very much to evila_elf for the super-speedy beta and extra prodding *g*
Notes: I woke up the morning after seeing Half-Wit thinking that I absolutely had to write a drabble about it. Except, not so much with the drabble *headdesk*. I hope this isn’t too rough - I wanted to get it out there before there were 100 post-eps with the same ideas. I may already be too late with this *g*. Inspired by the people on my f-list annoyed by Wilson’s virtual disappearance during the episode.
